About Us

Our story is one inspired by love for textiles, indigenous cultures and travels from around the globe.

Soulcrafts was born in the California festival scene over ten a decade ago. Our products received so much love, we were inspired to open a store in our hometown. The Soulcrafts shop opened its doors four years ago in the heart of Nevada City, a small yet culturally diverse town in the Sierra foothills in Northern California. Since then we have been integrated in this unique community of artists, movers and shakers, and support local arts and initiatives.

Now our signature blanket collection is available online. All of our Alpaca items are designed by Melany and then digitalized by the SoulCrafts team in Ecuador. The designs are inspired by traditional and indigenous geometric patterns from around the world. We strive to work with family owned businesses, who stand for fair trade, transparency and sustainable fashion practices.
